The Global Plastics Data Tracker is an interactive registry that maps plastics data across more than 193 countries, addressing the historical challenge of national-level plastics data not being easily accessible through a single platform.
View the Global Data TrackerDeveloped by UNSW CSDR, it identifies verified government data across the full plastics supply chain, including production, consumption, trade, and waste generation and treatment.
The Tracker was created to inform international policymakers, particularly negotiators at the UN’s Global Plastics Pollution Treaty, by providing an evidence base on current global plastics data availability and tonnages, highlighting the opportunities for improved monitoring frameworks.
